ERROR DETECTION
The typical injection moulding faults, such as overmoulding (flashes) and undermoulding (shorts) are just as reliably detected as faults in the label.
In recent years, the IML process (In-Mould Labeling) has established itself in the field of labels in Europe. Here we find the typical blow-bye errors that occur in the IML process. But also the classic label errors such as label position, label gap or overlap and label spirality are reliably detected with our systems.
In addition, a type test can be carried out on the basis of the label: either via an applied code (barcode, QR code or DataMatrix code) or, if no code is available, via the printed design.
PERFECTLY ADAPTED SOFTWARE
Our mips image processing software is optimally adapted to the requirements of lids and cans. In addition to a reliable inspection, our software can be adapted during operation.
A powerful statistic is generated to monitor and optimize the production quota. This statistic provides an overview according to criteria (flashes, shorts, label gap, etc.) and cavities. By the evaluation according to cavities e.g. a faulty cavity can be recognized and switched off.
HIGHEST FLEXIBILITY
Our systems can be integrated into any machine concept. A control on the belt is just as possible as in handling. The inspection can be carried out in motion. Motion speeds of up to 8 m/s are possible.
If desired, mevisco can take over the complete ejector control including checking whether NOK parts have actually been ejected. You do not have to evaluate or process any signals, but get a completely finished solution.
